Nach Tourneen mit Jack Johnson, Lifehouse und Boyce Avenue erobert Nick Howard jetzt die Clubs auf eigne Faust, im Gepäck hat er sein grandioses Album "Something to talk about" und die neue Single "Falling for You".

Mit Vorbands ist das oft so eine Sache. Selbst wenn sie ganz gut sind, passt der Stil oft nicht zum Main Act oder der Funke springt nicht über. Und überhaupt, wie soll es einer einzelnen Person gelingen nur bewaffnet mit einer Akustikgitarre innerhalb von 30 Minuten hunderte von Fans einer bestimmten Band zu seinen eigenen zu machen? Nun, fragt doch mal Nick Howard! Als Anheizer für Künstler wie Jack Johnson, Boyce Avenue und Lifehouse ist er ein Profi auf diesem Gebiet.

Nick Howard hat einfach das gewisse Etwas an sich, etwas das man kaum in Worte fassen kann. Es ist die Kombination aus gutgemachter Popmusik, einer einprägsamen Stimme mit leicht britischem Akzent, einer unglaublich sympathischen Ausstrahlung und einem schelmischen Lächeln, was die Frauenherzen schmelzen lässt.

Auf die Frage, was ihn von anderen Singer/Songwritern unterscheidet, antwortet er etwas zurückhaltend: „Wenn ich spiele, stecke ich jedes bisschen Energie in mir hinein. Wenn ich Songs schreibe, dann sind sie immer sehr persönlich und das hört man denke ich auch in meinen Texten und Melodien. Man hört, dass ich über etwas Wichtiges oder Reales singe.[...] Ich verstehe mich selbst als ehrlichen und gefühlvollen Sänger und Songwriter und das kommt manchmal durch und die Leute mögen es."

Nicks Single „Falling For You" läuft ab sofort im deutschen Radio, das neue Album "When The Lights Go Up" erscheint am 22. April 2011.

Seine erste heißbegehrte Headlining Tour im Februar 2011, hat Nick mit einem Unplugged Konzert bei Hitradio Ohr in Offenburg begonnen und bei 917xFM in Hamburg beendet. Desweiteren folgte ein TV Auftritt bei SWR3 latenight in Baden-Baden und präsentierte "Falling For You" bei 107.7 Radio Hagen.
Weitere Support-Act-Konzerte mit Boyce Avenue stehen für Mai an. Und ganz aktuell wurden die Daten für seine Headlining Tour im Oktober 2011 veröffentlicht. Der VVK startet am Montag (18.04.11) exklusiv über Eventim und ab dem 21.04. sind die Karten auch an allen bekannten Vorverkaufsstellen erhältlich!
