About Me:

I was born in Harrogate in Yorkshire and I moved to Lincoln when I was 3. My dad was in the RAF so we had to move where he was posted. I'd class myself as a southerner though due to the fact that my mum and nan were from London, plus the fact that I speak southern. I began playing the guitar in 1997 and I learnt to write proper songs around 1999 by using old poetry that I used to write. I guess I progressed from there really. I met all sorts of musicians along my way in the journey of music, but I'd say Colin 'Col' Lewis was one musician who had the exact same tastes as me musically. I put an ad in a local music shop and it listed my influences and that I could play the guitar, sing and write songs. Col contacted me and we played music together on and off for years after. We seemed to hit-it-off as we both had that same love for the sounds of the 60's. I have always been into 1960's music, fashion and the era as a whole. I have always been into guitars and how they look and sound.
I developed as a musician by pure determination. I wanted to play the guitar and I did it and carried on. I think it is the only thing that I have managed to stick-at in all of the things I have attempted in life so far. And it is the only thing that I know. I now play in Postcards From Places That Don't Exist as Lead Guitarist.
