That's what I was thinking you meant. Yeah we still hold those colours, It's a shame that we were cut to a single battalion when regiments like the Rifles or Royal Regiment of Scotland still maintain seven battalions each.

A Drum Major isn't actually part of the Regimental band, He is a senior non-commissioned officer from the Corps of Drums.

After St. Patrick's day the tune is 'Where Eagle's Dare' the theme from the movie of the same name.

At 3:00 the march is the Regimental quick march of the Irish Guards, and it is called 'St. Patrick's Day'

Actually you are semi correct... Handel actually wrote "Scipio" for the Grenadier Guards before he actually included it into Scipione.

Coldstream Guards- Cap badge is the Star of the Order of the Garter, Red plume on the right side of the bearskin, buttons on the front of the tunic spaced in twos with the garter star on each, White band on the forage cap

Scots Guards- Cap badge is the Thistle, no plume on the bear...
