Yeah o thought that would be the standard operating procedure, but it just seems like an extra stage to me. When i'm playing xbox i just leave the PVR recording and stop it whe i do something good.

I suppose it balances out over-all as you only have to record the bits of the demo that you need with FRAPS so it saves HDD space (you have no idea how many 4gig files i have with 10s clips at the end that i'm too lazy to edit out)

Nice, my PC is a bit temperamental running the game. I have to record a demo, then capture the demo's using fraps as i'm getting major frame drop when using fraps, but it's definitely worth all the fiddling for all the custom maps (i expect that's how everyone does it, but i'm used to just leaving my PVR on and forgetting about it).

If you're making maps anyway, then i'd love to play them, but don't go out of your way to make some if you weren't planning any; i imagine they take a lot of time to make!

I'm going away for a few weeks for work (booooo), but when i get back i'll add you on steam and we'll try play some co-op or something (if my PC lasts more than 5 minutes)

Hey man, thanks for the comment/good wishes, appreciate it. How's your house situation? Hope you got it all sorted (as much as you can when something like that happens). I've got Portal 2 on PC now (i'm still using an xbox controller though lol). If you spot any good custom maps or make any yourself, give me a heads up as i'm on the look-out.
