The truth though, is quite different. Jews and Arabs had been living in the region for decades, even centuries before WWII. Anyone can easily read up on this and all the times they fought each other. The UN actually divided the between where Jews and Arabs were already living and controlled. When the Jews declared independence in their area only (not Arab land), 5 foreign Arab nations invaded. In the end, these Arab nations took all the land of the Palestinian Arabs and some of the Jewish land. There was no foreign invasion of an Arab only Palestine.
