Nice to see this band finally getting the respect it deserves. They've inspired a generation of musicains, from Metallica, to Queensryche and Dream Theater. They are the "thinking man's rock band". I grew up listenening to their stuff and am now wn engineer. Go figure!

Even though I dug "Slide it In", for Whitesnake I prefer the Mickey Moody, Bernie Marsden stuff. And what really makes Slide it In stand out are Cozy's (God rest his soul) drumming. Some kick ass beats on that album!

I remember a buddy and I were taking a road trip and he had this new cassette he wanted me to hear. We plugged it in, and those first 2 songs just totally rocked you!!!

Fuck, just listen to those guitar harmonies! Genious! That was the true strength of this band! This band WILL be appreciated more as time goes by. They are like a treasure you discover. Just to bad they did not get more 'props in the US!
