If you died today, do you know where you would spend Eternity? Your soul is worth more then anything in the entire world. There is nothing is more important then your Eternity my friend.
God desires for you to have life and peace that is for both now and for all eternity.
"I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
John 10:10
He does not want to offer you "religion" that is what this world wants to offer you, but there is a difference, religion is mans way of trying or attempting to reach god or some higher being, the truth is Jesus is the only way and He draws us to Him. He does not want you to change, but He wants to change you. He loves you more then you can imagine.
Recognizing the problem: Is sin and separation:
We were born in sin with a sinful nature, because of the sin was passed down from Adam and Eve. We were created to know, love, and glorify God. When we choose to go our own way, living life in willful disobedience to God, we are choosing to be separated from God both now and for all eternity in hell.
The Bible says we are sinners
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:23
But God is love
"For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."
John 3:16
God is also just and Holy
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 6:23
We cannot save ourselves:
Because God is Holy, He cannot allow sin to enter into Heaven.
Most people attempt to save themselves by their own efforts, good works, or church attendance thats what alot of people call "religion". But the Bible says
"There is a way that seems right unto man, but in the end it leads to death." Proverbs 14:12
Our hearts are so easily deceived. Satan blinds the world of the Truth. So when a person dies in their sins and did not have Christs payment for them by repenting and trusting in Him they die and are separated from God for Eternity, we are born that way, but if continued untill death, its also an Eternal separation in Hell. But God so Love the world, He loved you and I so much, He is knocking on the door of your heart to let Him in.
How then can a sinful person enter Heaven where God allows no sin?
We must be born again spiritually, to become alive with His spirit, since we are born dead spiritually, John 3:3 "Unless You are born again you cannot see the kingdom of God"
We are saved by grace:
The good news is in spite of our sin, Christ died for us.
"By grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourself; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast."
Ephesians 2:8-9
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this; while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8
Responding to God's gift by faith:
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Romans 10:9 God, I know that I have sinned against You and deserve punishment. But I believe Jesus Christ took the punishment I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I receive Your offer of forgiveness and place my trust in You for salvation. I accept Jesus as my personal Savior! Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness—the gift of eternal life! Amen!
Why should anyone trust in Christianity over Islam, Buddhism, Mormonism, or anything else? It is because there are absolute truths. Only in Christianity are there accurately fulfilled prophecies of a coming Messiah. Only in Christianity do we have the extremely accurate transmission of the eyewitness documents (gospels), so we can trust what was originally written. Only in Christianity do we have the person of Christ who claimed to be God, performed many miracles to prove His claim of divinity, who died and rose from the dead, and who said that He alone was the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). All this adds to the legitimacy and credibility of Christianity above all other religions -- all based on the person of Jesus. It could not be that Jesus is the only Truth, and other religions also be the truth.
Either Jesus is true and all other religions are false, or other religions are true and Jesus is false. There are no other options. I choose to follow the risen Lord Jesus.
Many athiest's will pull the "Christanity is adopted from paganism"...Or something simular to that,..
No scholar adheres to such an idea. not even The Jesus Seminar, which is a group made up of critics of the historical Jesus. Anyone who says that Jesus was the result of pagan myths and so on, are holding on to an 18th-19th century idea which have been rejected by all historical scholars on the historical Jesus.
