Kam-i-Am Bio
Cameron P. Knick Better known as stage name Kam-i-Am was born and raised
in Minnesota he was almost born into music with his mom & older siblings
constantly having music blasted around the house all the way from Roger Zapp
to Bone-thugs music was his first love. At age 10 he could recite the whole
thirller & marshall mathers lp album and at the age of 12 when one of his
older brother's friend brought a labtop over to his house and had some beats on there he had a
recording program on there and said i herd you like to rap and put a beat on and
was expecting to make a joke out of him and show to friends and othere's and young kam actually impressed him
and otheres when the friend went to go show otheres and he got a call from his
brother saying it was good and that he should keep at it and has never stop since
but kam stopped pursing music as much through his teenage years do to being a typical teen
but when he was introduece to rap partner Aldin from a friend sophmore year
and he showed him some of his music and he was completley blown away
by how good he was and they just clicked from there and talked about doing music
the whole year & at the start of junior year summer they wanted to improve there lyrical skills
and flows before relasing music so they spent countless nights freestyling in
kams garage inviting friends over to come over to freestyle and hear them spit from 10:00pm untill 3:00am
and sometimes even untill 8:00pm even skipping out on partys and friends being a hundered
percent devoted to music and in early decemeber they decieded to take it to the next level
after being told by friends and family that they need to start putting it on the internet
so they created a youtube account under the name of new audio records and currently putting
music out and getting very good responces and meeting new people everyday in school
saying they herd and love there music and it's only the begining Kam-i-am is not a rappper
that is going for that 1 hit wonder but has the passion in heart to be one of the greats
and with being so verstile in his music and style flows he
on his way to get there so be on the look out
