Nestlé Healthy Kids
The objective of the Nestlé Healthy Kids Global Programme is to raise nutrition, health and wellness awareness of school-age children around the world. Healthy Kids programmes are based on multi-partnership approaches. They are designed and implemented in collaboration with national health authorities, child nutrition experts and/or education authorities and health experts. A third of Healthy Kids programmes are endorsed by national Ministries of Health, of Education or Sports. Additionally, Nestlé works together with over 100 other organizations: NGOs, Nutrition Institute, National sport federation, local governments.

Rural Development
Rural development is one of Nestlé's shared value focus areas as the overall wellbeing of farmers, rural communities, small entrepreneurs and suppliers are intrinsic to the long-term success of our business.
Creating Shared Value Forum 2011
On May 19, 2011, Nestlé hosted its third Creating Shared Value Forum in Washington, D.C. in partnership with the Atlantic Council. The Forum provided a platform for global business leaders and top government officials to offer fresh thinking on how businesses and governments can work together to close the gap between commercial needs and development goals.
Panel discussions explored the opportunities, obstacles, and future directions in nutrition, water and rural development in Latin America and Africa. Furthermore, another panel session outlined a way forward for businesses, governments and development up to 2030.
Creating Shared Value Forum 2009
On 27-28 April 2009 Nestlé, in conjunction with the United Nations Office for Partnerships and the Swiss Mission to the United Nations, held the first Creating Shared Value Forum. Participants included leading experts in the areas of nutrition, water and rural development.
