About this user
I am a 31-year-old Nevada girl, engaged to the love of my life, and peering into this new decade with a mixture of trepidation and relief. I am interested in the connections that YouTube makes possible. I am always seeking good videos about meditation, Taoism, yoga, kundalini, humor, animals, spirituality, and music.
I am a Catholic who also practices my own form of paganism and Wicca, but I do not call myself a Wiccan. If that makes any sense . . . I do consider myself to be Catholic, and that is how I identify my religion; however, I am interested in the archetype of the feminine that is essential, mysterious, and largely missing from most world religions. I also have a deep connection to the supernatural, and have accepted that I can see things that perhaps others cannot or do not wish to see, swimming and shimmering all around us, all of the time. I don't fear them anymore.
I have gone to school here in the United States, as well as in Spain, and briefly lived in Paris. I love that city! I grew up on Irish and Scottish folktales from my father's side, and feel a deep connection to my Celtic heritage. My other "half" is more recently emigrated Basque, which I speak a bit of. In Basque the word for witch is "Sorgina," and I have visited the witches' caves in Zugarramurdi, where I felt a deep spiritual connection in that beautiful natural setting both within and outside of the earth's womb, connected to thousands of years of magick.
I am also a certified country girl with conservative principles and old-fashioned cowgirl grit. I come from a long line of ranchers in Nevada and in Texas. And I'm damn proud of it!
