Raj Bista is a lifelong martial artist having studied many martial arts since a early teenager. Since his late teens, Raj has dedicated his martial arts career to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).

Since 2004, Raj's focuses have been training and competing in MMA and grappling respectively. Raj's highlights include winning the AFL MMA featherweight title and the British Novice Olympic Wrestling championships, both in 2008. Raj joined the Trojan Free Fighters in 2006 as an amateur competitor and has since hugely developed his skill set enabling him to win his first professional debut at Knuckle Up: Origins 2010, at the bantamweight division.

Raj is currently a professional MMA fighter, MMA coach, and the general manager of Trojan Free Fighters Bristol.
