I interpret it this way. Media beautiful = unrealistic standard of beauty. stereotypically Female are judged on beauty as males are judged on there success. Next to media beauty, we are all ugly.

This is a different type of contest show. You don't have to like it but my opinion is that it's better than most contest shows out there. Some people can't understand how hard it is to think of some thing and make it happen. It takes a lot of crativity and talant to do this.

@sureke07 I agree things just don't normally sound good in chinese compared to Korean or Japanese. But I do applaud(sp?) them on singing in different languages than their own. That takes a lot.
