AN EXCERPT FROM MY LIFE:
So far so good... I'm getting ready to travel to San Francisco, that magical city on the West Coast surrounded by water. I spent my teenage summer there and left my heart there. I'm going back to see if I can find it! lol
Life moves on no matter whether I'm happy, sad, angry, in love, not in love, or dreaming. I'm just plain Nena - or Suavecita Mi Nena, as some of my friends call me, who's trying to make it in life.
I'm blessed to have so many friends, to have a happy and healthy family, and to be alive.

I am from the NAVAJO tribe in New Mexico and we are 300,000 strong in 2011. I am a former Army AIRBORNE PARATROOPER who unscathingly jumped from airplanes and helicopters. Check out the video and watch how WE DID IT! It was the greatest exhilaration, mixed with fear and pride cause I KNEW I was the best that I could be and no one could take that from me!

Books:
I love reading books and probably have read close to 5 thousand. But my autobiography, titled "CHASING DREAMS - A NAVAJO MEMOIR' is my favorite. It was a huge undertaking but I'm finished and will get it published as soon as possible. MY INTRO: Nena started out a tiny, skinny figure with an enormous curiosity of life that has taken her across different continents on an amazing journey to discover the many wonderful sights, sounds, and personalities in all the cities she traveled to. She came away, a more mature, insightful, and marvelously happy woman. Stop in and read about her challenging sometimes daunting, but never boring days, weeks, years spent frolicking happily in the wide, open world.
