There once was a tall tall tower made completely out of gold. In this tower, there was a beautiful child and her cat. This tower had no windows, no doors, no cracks or places where the two could escape. The child said to the cat one day. 'Cat, somehow, you can escape this place. Why stay with me?' The cat answered by leaveing the tower. The child thought the cat would come the next day. The cat stayed away. The child started beliveing every black thing in her room was her beloved animal. She went insane. Wondering why the cat had left. And why he was still her if he was gone. One night, at 3 am, she smelled something burning. She walked down the golden staircase towards the smell. When she got there, the smell disappeared. And she heard the pots in her kitchen banging together. Slowly she opened the door to the kitchen. The painting above the stove was a picture of Jesus and his followers. Instead of the seemingly kind eyes of the Lord, there were scourch marks in place of the eyes. The painting seemed to be bleeding black tears. The child got scared and ran back up to her room. Too frightened to speak she lay back in her bed. Suddenly the door to her room flew open. But nothing was there. The child knew something was there, and that something was suddenly ontop of her. The child couldn't scream, couldn't move, she opened her mouth but nothing came out. A voice came to her. "Why do I stay when I can leave? It is not your place to ask,"
The child couldn't say a word. She couldn't breathe. The weight was almost unbreable. "Children should be seen. Not heard. You don't need that pretty little tounge of yours when you're all alone up here, do you?"
Sharp needle like things poked at her tounge. The weight was worse. "Maybe we should just remove it. Then you won't have to ask your stupid human questions. Speaking of things we should remove, you don't need your eyes do you?"
