I am a Muslim, meaning that I worship Allah alone, who is the Lord of Worlds, the God of Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed (peace be upon them all). Being a Muslim also means that I strive to follow the Guidance revealed to the Final Messenger of Mankind, Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). These two fundamental concepts of Islam are very beautifully summarized in the Creed of Islam:
''There is no other god/object of worship other than Allah, and Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) is His Servant and Messenger.''

The Original Call Project is meant to present the straight facts about Islam, so that non muslims (and muslims as well) have a clear idea of what Islam is about. There are many aspects of Islam that are misunderstood, whether it be what Jihad really is about, the status of Women in Islam, Shariah Law/Islamic Law... All of these topics and more are clarified in the Original Call Project. But also the core beliefs and tenets of the faith of Islam will be made clear: the muslim concept of God, the purpose of life, who prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) was and what he stood for, the Quran, the solutions that Islam can provide our world etc etc. The Original Call Project is also tackling contemporary issues like Islamophobia.
Islam is sometimes seen as some mysterious, off the wall religion due to how it is associated with what muslims may do in some parts of the world, but these are the actions of people. And these people may not necessarily represent Islam. How can you know? By looking into the teachings of Islam itself, from the Quran, and the preserved teachings of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).
Islam means in arabic ''surrender to the Will of God''. This means that an individual returns his free will to God, and lives a life that is in accordance with God's will. It is this Original Call that all prophets (Moses,Jesus,Mohammed etc etc) had; to submit oneself to the only true God, the Creator who has no partner, no equal, and besides Him there is no other god or idol to be worshipped, Almighty Allah.

(The Holy Quran 59:22-24) Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god; Who knows (all things) both secret and open; He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god; the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah! (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him.
He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory; and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Allah raised prophets and messengers from among mankind, to show us how to conduct ourselves. They were fine examples of how to interact with the Creator in worship, and how to interact with good behaviour towards creation itself.
Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) is the final Messenger sent to all mankind; a simple man with extraordinary standards of character and morals, the Seal of prophethood.
