There seems to be a community of Hiphop haters on this site. They bitch and moan about Hiphop promoting gansterism and misogyny and that the fans are the same way. I'm a Hiphop head and Im from the projects. Not ONCE did I ever rob someone, joined a gang, or even called a woman a bitch, unless she deserved it of course. As far is Rap not being talented, a friend of mine named MMRED said something that was interesting:

Rapping takes as much talent and skill as singing, it's just that, instead of using their vocals as a MELODIC instrument, they use it as a RYTHMIC instrument, which requires you to know how to use your syllable emphasis and speaking patters in a MUSICALLY RYTHMIC sorta way! I HATE IT when I hear that. Anyone can do it. Bullshit! Cause I've heard VERY TALENTED singers who've tried to rap and were REALLY BAD at it! So NOT EVERYBODY can do it!-MMRED

According to many of our fellow patrons who use this website, I have four factors about me that makes me an idiot:

1) Im Black

After about 7 months in office Obama has fucked up majorly and completely turned from his classic liberal ways. Being pushed by the far left elite and the far right elitist media is eating it up. Rap is something you DO, Hiphop is something you LIVE. Hiphop is MCing, DJing, Break dancing, & Graffiti. Hiphop is life, art, community, and culture. MCs are supposed to be LYRICISTS no matter what TYPE of music they do.

The problem with Hiphop today isnt the rappers; its the fans and the balance. Back in the day, if there were 9 rappers, 3 would do street music, 3 would do commercial music, & 3 would do conscious music. Nowadays, 9 rappers, 8 do crap, 1 does something of substance. The balance is gone, and the fans dont care. Thats the root of the problem.
