First and foremost I'm a human being, one who is seeking a better world for myself, my family, and all people. I don't believe in any religions, "isms" or ideologies.
The system as we have had is a complete and utter failure. Capitalism is an unsustainable failure, right-wing ideology is a failure of epic proportions, Libertarianism is a fantasy fiction cult, and there is no alternative in the Dems as they serve the same economic interests as the corrupt Repubs. The system is little more than a plutocracy, rule by the wealthy. The few exploit the many both in the U.S. and around the world and that must end. What there is of democratic rule is collapsing under the power of corporate domination, the primary vehicle of exploitation by the wealthy. Their system is unsustainable as aspects of their system collapses under the natural corruption inherent in their system. Even worse our social fabric is collapsing as this radical corporate/business sector and the dysfunctional culture that has been manufactured from, places emphasis on the desires of an elite served market system over human need. And to make it even worse we are seeing signifigant portions of the natural world collapse under the unsustainable nature of this monetary system which threatens our very survival. We must break free of it, if not it will end us.
I think Jacque Fresco's ideas of a resource based economy is worth your time to contemplate and seriously consider. The monetary system is a fraud and one used to exploit and control. A primitive system that no longer serves a purpose but for the few to take from and control the many.
