The fifth annual Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards
were held in Toronto this weekend. The gala evening
kicked off the 10th Annual Canadian Aboriginal
Festival and Pow Wow, a three-day event celebrating
native culture.
Three artists were particularly big winners this year,
each winning two awards each. Ontario's Tru Rez
Crew were honoured with the Best Rap or Hip-Hop
Album award for their recent release, Ain't No Turnin'
