The National Pain Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization established in 1998 to provide pain information, education and support for patients, physicians and the general public. Our work addresses the three main causes for the inadequate treatment of pain: the invisibility of pain, the lack of credible information about pain, and the lack of validation of pain as a serious public health care issue. The founders also firmly believe that early intervention can significantly improve the quality of life of persons in pain.
People in pain often suffer alone, without the care and support of family members, friends or even health care providers. Please help us continue to reach those in need by donating today at www.NationalPainFoundation.org.
