Since 1979 the NGA is a non-profit organization which servers a dual mission: * To inform and support through education personal fitness training certification programs and * Encouragement in the art and science of natural strength (Drug Free)training and bodybuilding.
In 1986 the NGA sanctioned the first all "natural" bodybuilding contests in the U.S, which has grown to become the largest, promoter nationally. These natural bodybuilding sanctions are national qualifiers, which are sponsored by NGA. The NGA has become the leader in the industry of natural bodybuilding, which promotes, and produces, amateur and professional championship shows in the United States.
