National Green Week is mobilizing one million children during the week of February 2-8, 2009 to collectively demonstrate how eco-friendly choices can significantly reduce the volume of trash produced in schools. It will also teach children to consider healthy snack options and save money by buying in bulk and recycling. Visit www.nationalgreenweek.com for more details.

National Green Week is sponsored by the Green Education Foundation (GEF), whose mission is to provide educational resources that promote sustainable, impactful pro-green habits and practices in children, families, and communities. Visit www.greeneducationfoundation.o rg for more details.
