Forget about Hearns and Benitez, who did beat other greats. Why couldn't Duran beat another great except Leonard, who outclassed him and made him quit in the rematch. Benitez totally outclassed Duran here. And fact is Duran fought at 154 as early as 1978 before Benitez,Hearns or Leonard ever did.

Curry was not big enough to really hurt Nunn badly, but he was fast enough to hit him and make it a fight. Nunn had to calm down and just pick his shots and he beat Curry easily.

Poor Donald was in shock a little. They should not have interviewed him. I always feel bad for the loser, but Donald had such a great career. Nothing to be ashamed of. I wish I had his career.

Mike was bigger which no one ever mentions. He just looks stronger.

This era of junior middlweights was just great, and the era of HBO with Tompkins and Merchant when they were young. This was also the era of the fab 4 with Hagler and Hearns and Duran and Leonard. Great era. I miss it.
