Natan started to play gigs in the Benelux immediately after starting to exist in 2002 and recorded the Demo CD 'Akeldama', which was released in march 2003.

The positive feedback on both the Demo and the live concerts pushed them to a higher level. In 2004 and 2005 concerts in Germany and Switzerland were played, besides the usual Benelux gigs, and in 2005 the EP 'Nevel' was released. Natan received very positive reactions for the release, and more concerts followed.

In the spring of 2007 Natan did a small European tour through Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France. In february 2008 Natan recorded their first full-length album 'Het Zicht Van De Dood', from which the song Velden Van Bloed is taken and exclusively mastered for this compilation. In march 2008 Natan visited the Galician part of Spain to play a minitour. In that same year, Het Zicht Van De Dood(debut full length album) was released by Iron Age Records, and the first concerts in England and Scotland became history.
2009 started with a lot of shows in Central Europe and England with bigger bands.
In july, Natan plays in Czech Republic for the first time, and in september Natan tours England, Ireland and Scotland.

Dispite many line-up changes and some long time absences of a few members due to work or education Natan always came back with a vengeance and managed to play many European concerts(B, NL, D, CH, I, F, E, EN, SCO, IRL, N-IRL, CZ) and share the stage with bands like: Eluveitie, Thyrfing, Dark Funeral, Shining, Tyr, Darkspace, Cruachan, Secrets Of The Moon, Heidevolk, Manegarm, Corpus Christii, Koldbrann, Wyrd, Cirith Gorgor, Sarkom, Syrach, Suidakra, Skyforger, Thronar, Temple Of Baal, Born From Pain, Elvenking, Prejudice, Leng Tch'E, Emeth, Insanity Reigns Supreme, Fallen Yggdrasil, Merrimack, Thurisaz, Kathaarsys, Gorath, Panchrysia, Theudho, Kromlek, Lemuria, Demonizer, ... and so many more.
