"TAIMANE" means "DIAMOND" in the Samoan language. She is a 20 year old ukulele virtuoso who has performed most of her life. Her nationality is half Samoan and half caucasian.

Taimane began ukulele at the age of 5. At age 10 she played on the streets of Waikiki to help raise money for homeless people of Hawaii.

She was discovered by the great Hawaiian legend, Mr. Don Ho.

At the young age of 13 Taimane became a featured performer in THE DON HO SHOW, showcased in Waikiki. Taimane continued in the show for 5 wonderful years, (including Vegas).

Don Ho, "Mr. Hawaii", taught her the true meaning of aloha,....gentle love & kindness without expecting something in return. "Prepare your place in heaven by starting now." He was a special man.
