i know what claudineretard means.i had to to shoot my own dog i had for so long when i was younger and we had him scence he was a pup..he was a black lab named smut and he whould follow us ware ever we went.he also was very protective of me and my little sis cause even when my dad tried to whip us when we were little he whould growl at him like if he was trying to hurt us lol.one night he got out of his cage and went to the neighbors across the street and got into the cage with 2 big rottweilers and they just tor him up bad.we found him in the yard the next day with halk of his jaw hanging out..we thought he was gona be ok but when we got home from shool i had to releive him of his pain.

just read ur comment on the 'christian the lion' video about 1 day havin2 put ur dog down. I worried the same, and the other day, after 12 yrs my fear came through. came downstairs, and found her all flopppy in her bed, altho still alive. called the vet who said she had had a heart attack and bad stroke, and that it was the kindest thing2 put her2 sleep. My mind told me it was the rite thing to do, but my heart just broke, cos she trusted me and I had2 betray that trust. It sounds stupid, but I KNOW that she trusted me with her life. I hope that 1 day ur dog just dies naturally, and that yo don't have to meke that decision. Take care.
