Hillary's response to President Bush's remarks: President Bush's comparison of any Democrat to Nazi appeasers is both offensive and outrageous on the face of it, especially in light of his failures in foreign policy. This is the kind of statement that has no place in any presidential address and certainly to use an important moment like the 60th anniversary celebration of Israel to make a political point seems terribly misplaced. Unfortunately, this is what we've come to expect from President Bush.
"There is a very clear difference between Democrats and Republicans on foreign policy and that difference will be evident once we take back the White House." She said. Considering her penchant for declaring military defeat in Iraq she has some huge BALLS to calling out the President. |

Nancy, you ignorant slut! (a la Saturday Night Live) How about your declaring that the US has lost the war in Iraq? Talk about comments that are beneath the dignity of the person 3rd in line to the presidency!

House Democrats are proposing a tax surcharge on millionaires to pay for a big increase in education benefits for veterans of the war in Iraq, lawmakers said Tuesday. The plan, if accepted by rank-and-file Democrats, would clear the way for a vote Thursday on a long-stalled war funding bill that would pay for military and diplomatic operations in Iraq and Afghanistan into next spring.
Democrats playing the envy card and promoting the Socialist progressive tax system? You gotta be joking! NOT |

US Defense Secretary Robert Gates ordered a review of the handling of the remains of US war dead and apologized after learning that some were cremated in a commercial facility that also cremates pets, the Pentagon said. Pentagon press secretary Geoff Morrell said there was no evidence that any US servicemember was cremated in an incinerator used for pets. But Gates believed that the use of a commercial facility that cremated both humans and pets, albeit in separate incinerators, was "insensitive and entirely inappropriate for the dignified treatment of our fallen," Morrell said.

As speaker of House, Nancy Pelosi is third in line of succession to the presidency, but her high-profile boycott of the Olympics in favor of "Free Tibet" has made her an unsavory image as a high-level leader. Her infamous activities included public call for interference in the torch relay in her hometown San Francisco in defiance of the government. I really doubt the credibility of the U.S legal system she declared.
Nancy Pelosi is always hostile to China, and interferes in China's domestic affairs. Pelosi hurts us Chinese all along the line: met the Dalai in India, suggested Bush consider skipping the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympics, made willful speech about torch relay and impelled adoption of Tibet-related resolution in the House. Peposi, if you keep going your own way, you will be an unpopular figure in China forever. |

Nancy Pelosi is a constant critic of China. In her opinion, China is not qualified to host the Games considering China hasn't measured up.
Having seen she could not press China or wield power over the administration, Pelosi made a proposal in Congress to prohibit officials from participating in any activities related to Beijing Olympics including opening ceremony. Her proposal was abruptly rejected by Bush Administration. She even acted as a think tank for the Dalai, suggesting he keep the Tibetan Youth Congress at arm's length for political concerns. |
