seeking sounds

*** I won;t be doing any more recording anytime soon....... there's so many more songs I wanted to put up, but I just can't find the right mood/ spirit to give them justice........ I have all the audacity files on my laptop which I'll make available for my friends and family to at least see what I was goign for......... SOrry about the abrupt stop---- I just really need a rest.

* So what we've got is some rough takes, some stripped down demos...... Sketches, Skeletons of songs that have a main concept or theme, but most are still in the process of becoming a 'real' song.... This is good becuse I can keep coming back and re-arranging them, re-recording, changing lyrics, song titles..... thats stuff I enjoy doing....... it keeps me busy......

When a songs finsihed the only part left is to play it.......

A lot of these recordings are gonna be subdued....slower.....relaxed...... maybe even seeming to be 'dragging'..... I don;t use metronomes..... These are acoustic versions of songs that could be played with a full band set-up. Acoustics don;t rock quite like electrics.....

** Yeah I know the volumes Low...... Maybe you're ears are too Numb? eh? just kidding...... Try headphones....... your ears will be cozy. They'll appreciate it.**

** Sooo, I honestly don't know when I'm gonna record anything........ Could be in a day or two, or it could be in a few weeks..... I really don;t know......... Eventually I gotta record the songs I have, so they'll be there eventually I guess.... ***

Its gonna be mostly just me playing some songs, both originals as wells as some covers......

This is totally just for fun...... I don't consider myself a 'serious' musician....... I just enjoy playing my songs, writing songs, and playing covers.......

88% of these songs are intended for the basic electric rock set-up....... so obviously when I'm playing them acoustically it's gonna have a different feel than if it were done electric with other players. So in general these are more subdued, or relaxed than they would be in a full set-up.

I'm using a crappy little computer mic here.... really lo-fi.....thats no good excuse for a shitty voice, but it's not the worst excuse either ;)

I used to just use 'audacity' to record ideas, and songs....... i've got hundreds of audacity files..... maybe the youtube channel recording process will be more rewarding somehow? i dunno......

The main reason I'm making this channel is to just share the song ideas i've come up with over the years, with my friends and family mostly..... but I may do some covers to see if i can get other ppl to check out my songs too.....
