The wolves, and they are very beautiful animals, have a highly developed sense of hierarchy, which allows them to live in cooperative and organized society without resorting to deadly combat for leadership.
In the stories of Little Red Riding Hood, Peter and the Wolf, The Three Little Pigs, the wolf is always presented as a cruel and savage animal, almost always cheated. The fox is in turn always smart.
