This is a good idea, IF you can connect iPad via Bluetooth as the primary and only display. Unless I am mistaken you still need a monitor to start up this set up and get it running. Or, can you tun on the Mac mini with iYeleport and then switch over to air display to eliminate the vnc lag? I know...
