I became interested in rc helicopters around 1983. My first was a GMP Cricket, followed by a GMP Competitor, GMP Cobra and Kobe Kiko Hughes 300. Unfortunately the cost in those days was more then I could afford and good learning information was hard to come by, so I quit around 1986.

Then in 2008 I was looking for something to do and decided to give rc helicopters another try. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much the hobby had advanced over the years. Today's radio equipment coupled with computer simulators and forums full great information makes learning to fly a lot easier then it was in the 80's.

My current fleet is approximately 15 helicopters, most of which are Align T-REX's (250 through 700). I also have several vintage GMP helicopters that I enjoy flying from time-to-time.
