This is a Channel that I have devoted to The Educational Robotic arm unit known as "Scorbot". These Robotic arm units are a fantastic way to approach Industrial robotics, and is a great tool to learn various techniques in both hardware and software.

I also demonstrate various Electronics interfacing techniques with various hand-held computer consoles. This allows hobbyists and student to attempt executing their own custom code on real hardware, as opposed to using a software emulated version of the hardware in question.

Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have:)

Cheers!
About Me:

I'm currently a full time College Student working on a 3 year Technologist Diploma for Digital-Electronics and Wireless Telecommunications Engineering. I received a 2 year technical Diploma for Robotics Engineering back in 2005.

I've been using Scorbots for about 7 years now making my own custom modifications in my private Development Lab on various Robotic cells I have running.

I have also started to experiment and Modify vintage Hand-held Game consoles like the Nintendo GameBoy and the SEGA GameGear. These devices are allot of Fun. Executing your own Custom code on the real hardware is a real asset.

In my Analog Electronics world I love to design and build Custom Guitar Effects Pedals. These devices take full advantage of the Analog circuit characteristics. I love it. :)

I'm also experimenting with vintage Altera CPLD devices such as the Altera MAX7000 series of PLD's. Programming with Quartus II software and using various JTAG programming boards.

Just recently I acquired the Altera Master Programming Setup (PL-ASAP2) with various adapters. I also have begun using some NON-JTAG units like the DATA I/O "LabSite" EPROM programmers.

Creating my Own PCB's, Surface-Mount Soldering, Programming, Video Production and Web Design are all mixed in there as well. :)
Talk about Fun!!

@Geisttanzer:
Thanks Glad you liked the Tutorial. Just to make a Note if your looking for my Gameboy Instructional videos that I took down due to complaints of my Bad stuttering, you can still download them directly from the "MEDIA" page on my personal website. The link is in my Channel Profile.

As for the Cartridge.....Yes I actually meant Kirby's Block Ball. I would recommend "LEGEND OF ZELDA DX" cartridge. As this cartridge has the MBC5 chip which is compatible with almost all the GB/GBC games. And it also has the additional RAM with the Battery backup. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to send me a Personal Message.

Cheers!

About the diy game boy flash cart, what cartridge do you recommend for this project? In the PDF you made you mention "Yoshi's Blockball", did you actually mean Kirby's Block Ball? Could you tell me some alternatives? I couldn't find that game on MercadoLibre (Argentine eBay; I don't want to pay shipment)... awesome tutorial by the way.

I had so many people complaining about my stutter in the videos, that I took them offline to redo the audio track. It was just more annoying to have to read through the hate mail. It's in the works though. If you really want the Gameboy instructional series right away, I can send you download links for the higher res DIVX avi files. Just contact me though my website and send me an email.

Hey there! Just came across your channel! Very cool DIY vids! I love mods myself but haven't ventured into EPROM programming yet! Keep up the awesome vids! Oh yeah, I'm a big handheld fan as well, both GG and GB being my favorites =)
