Little 'Brutus' A story of survival!
This is the ongoing saga of little "Brutus". The kitten I found when he was only a couple of hours old. His two siblings and he were abandoned by a young mother cat...it was a horrendous sight to see....the three babies were still attached to the mother's placenta, and all tangled up in each other's umbilical cords. His two siblings did not
make it past the first 24 hours, but little Brutus was a fighter, and he is a survivor!
The LadyTrucker Chronicles
Impromptu on the spot interviews with solo LadyTruckers from across the USA.
J.D. Crowe and The New South Bluegrass band
I started learning how to play the five string banjo back in 1983. There were three top banjo pickers that were my "mentors". They were Earl Scruggs, Bill Monroe, and J.D. Crowe. I wore out 1 cassette and two CD's of The Bluegrass Album Band which featured the esteemed J.D. Crowe on the five string. To see him and his band in person, was a thrill of a lifetime!
For your enjoyment, I now share my slightly shaky hand-held video footage of parts of their recent outdoor concert at the Blackmon Amphitheatre in Mount Airy, NC. So, grab a cold one, sit back, and enjoy! :)
