The second method uses the definition of the fluid volume at sim-level. A Fluid Volume Mesh is created and a Fluid Surface Mesh on the surface of the racer as well to locally control the size of the fluid volume. With this method it is possible to define a boundary layer mesh, where the number of layers, first layer thickness and total thickness can be defined. Advantages of this methode are: no need to subtract the submerged components from the fluid volume (a great advantage when there are many components inside the fluid volume) and the possibility to define a boundary layer mesh automatically.

Song: 'Land Of The Dead' Original artist: Summoning (http://www.summoning.info/) Album: Oath Bound
--
I finally decided that I wanted to commit myself and start making my own music, so obtained the programs Mixcraft 5 (basically a Windows equivalent of Garage Band) and Synthesia (an on-screen keyboard tutorial program that can play MIDI files and display the notes being played for you to follow).
As a test of both programs' capabilities (and my own), I chose to recreate Summoning's legendary 'Land Of The Dead' (from 'Oath Bound' full length album) using Mixcraft's on-screen MIDI keyboard (allows you to use your PC keyboard keys to emulate a range of keys on an actual keyboard) to record tracks by ear. This explains the lack of drums (I couldn't distinguish the drum sounds in the original song well enough to be bothered with them) and rather repetitive base synth layer.
I learned a lot about the mechanics of both programs whilst producing this cover track and enjoyed doing so, so I'll likely be using these programs in my development of my music projects (currently in development).
Enjoy, Summoning fans!

Kreuzweg Ost
Album - Gott mit Uns (2012)
Label: Cold Spring Records Format: Full-length Country: Austria Style: Martial Industrial, Modern Classical, Neofolk
Lineup:
Oliver Stummer Programming Ronald Albrecht Programming Silenius Programming See also: Amestigon, Summoning, ex-Abigor, ex-Die Verbannten Kinder Evas, ex-Pazuzu
Kreuzweg Ost, founded in 2000 by well known Austrian underground musicians Michael Gregor (Summoning, Abigor) and Martin Schirenc (Pungent Stench, Hollenthon).
Kreuzweg Ost's concept is about making musical translations of various movies dealing with military or religios topics. The selection of films ranges from literature-adaptions to, in some cases, complete trash. This mixture of sophisticated and degenerated language conjures up an unfamiliar athmosphere and tells a new tale of life in conflict. The combination of martial rythms and melancholic melodies builds the essence of our musical concept:
to take the listener back to times and places long time gone.
