The Equality Act 2010 dictates that people who are disabled (and it identifies MS as a disability) should receive the same kind and level of care as other people. CCSVI is denied to us all via NHS

CCSVI I had in Poland I know its costs a few hundreds of pounds to do in NHS with the equipment to use and its very simple and undangerous to do also and denied because of clinical trials yet have had two botox procedures done to me on my bladder NOT clinically trialled yet given I nearly died after last year with internal bleedings and infections. So its making NO SENSE what so ever at all NONE

WizardKing78 is fairly typical of people who post on-line supporting privatisation of the NHS - most of these people are hard-core right-wing activists from the USA, so's he, and his channel says he's "Anti-Feminist", that he supports the right to bear arms - illustrated with a graphic of a AK47 rifle, and one of his own videos is called "Six signs of a manipulative B***H!" - seems this guy has serious issues with women, and he's certainly not the kind of person British people need advising us on health policy

I think the NHS is wonderful!

So wonderful, in fact, that it deserves to be entirely owned and run by the private sector; not by the present bunch of corrupt bureaucrats with their obscenely generous pensions and bloated unions.

"What Wednesday's vote on the Health and Social Care Bill shows more clearly than anything is that many, if not most, of the political elite no longer care whether they are carrying out the wishes of the electorate, and barely pretend that we are any longer a democracy." Colin Leys, The Guardian, 8 Sept 2011

"The rich run a global system that allows them to accumulate capital and pay the lowest possible price for labour. The freedom that results applies only to them. The many simply have to work harder, in conditions that grow ever more insecure, to enrich the few. Democratic politics, which purports to enrich the many, is actually in the pocket of those bankers, media barons and other moguls who run and own everything." Charles Moore, The Daily Telegraph, 22 July 2011

Bronzerevolution - you're delusional. "By effectively controlling the entire sector, there's no option for the private sector to even offer care"? Look up the BUPA website or walk down Harley Street and tell us there's "no option for the private sector to even offer care"... you've got no idea what you're talking about!
bronzerevolution1 (9 months ago)
Malthus0 is right. It's the third largest employer in the world, which is insane. Providing health care to those who need it is fine, but by effectively controlling the entire sector, there's no option for the private sector to even offer care. If a person is too poor to pay for health care, then the NHS should be available. If you have a person who can afford it, why not allow competition in the industry, and raise standards?

Answering Bronzerevolution1, what's wrong with ideologically motivated cuts is that they're cuts to public services that a/ people actually need (especially the poor), and that b/ everyone has (through VAT, income tax and National Insurance etc) already paid for!!! And the Tories may be the largest party but they're still a minority and they're still implementing policies that in fact most British people actively voted AGAINST
