Hello, we are Nevercrew, a swiss-based artists duo. We started in 1996 doing graffiti, drawings and graphics, and since then we have always tried to blend our reciprocal passions, the old and the new ones, to create, build, have fun, evolve and maybe communicate. Over the years we have mixed the elements of graphics, collage, lettering with those of street art, graffiti, and traditional painting. We mixed the interaction with the environment at the image, the 2D with the 3D, for stylistic choices but also to create always more and with more freedom. In our work we use our memories and our dreams, and we combine them with what we are now; we use the vintage and the surreal or the atmosphere and the structure of the metropolis. By doing this we love to create evocative situations, thoughts, new creatures and new worlds, or just images with their own soul. Probably our main task is to paint, but we like to do many other things. One of these things, which can give a better idea, they are our "Spaces".
This spaces, rooms, buildings, structures, are free creative places where we can create what we want and that come to life thanks to the connections (voluntary or otherwise) that compose them (for us, for an observer or for themselves). Also if they seem to be dissociated, as usually happens in life, there is a strong interaction between the different environments (that include real elements, fictional and surreal elements, objects, ambiances and feelings, disproportions and links to everyday life and reality) and everything become part of an unique balance (also with the observer's space, of course).
As street artists we like to interact with places and with these we create new spaces to work into with freedom. They can be creative expressions of the subconscious, mirrors of reality or parallel universes.
