http://www.ndigital.com/industrial The AUTOsense touch trigger module improves the performance and usability of OPTOTRAK® PROseries touch probing. Developed for NDI by Renishaw, the AUTOsense module offers hard probe, scanning, and touch trigger capabilities.
As a touch trigger probe, AUTOsense reduces unnecessary tip deflection errors by automatically taking measurements when the probe stylus contacts the part. During contact surface scanning AUTOsense does not continue measuring when the stylus leaves the work piece, eliminating invalid points.
The result is greater convenience, higher measurement throughput, and a degree of measurement accuracy far superior to standard methods.

Take the machine to the part instead of the part to the machine. Increase machining time by reducing inspection time. A Portable CMM provides Part-to-CAD Computer-Aided Inspection right on the shop floor.
