In 1977 Mike Weaver fought unbeaten Bill Sharkey, Weaver said this was his hardest fight , as Bill just kept coming at him, I thought Sharkey was going to stop him by rd 3, but Mike weathered the onslaught & won on points. It would be great if this fight would get on you tube.

I saw this fight on tv, I was still in high school. it was a textbook on in-fighting., doesn't get any better than this. Sadly it was all downhill for both Joe & Ron after this fight.
