About this user

I'm here to start my personal journey into leading a healthier lifestyle and with less fuss. I always wanted to go natural for years and always gave up. This new transition has definitely gave a new found freedom and confidence, that I didn't know was in me. I'm just that there are other Natural Beauties/Brothas out there that have been such inspiration. This is my way of paying back. I've been locked down for 20 years by all the lyes, and now I can truly say that I have ARRIVED!!

Hair Stats:
09/20/2010: After all that complaining about having "hang" time, my hair is finally showing some hang time. While approaching year 2, I'm starting to be more experimental with different styling techniques. I sill love my twistouts, but starting to try braidouts. I haven't quite mastered that yet, but will not give up. A new hair product I love right now is Shea Moisture.
Recent Update: 01/08/2010: I'm cutting down on trying new products for awhile and just going to stick with what works for me. I have added a new love to mix of products (Afroveda Ginger almond butter). Below is the list of products I currently use and will continue to use.

Update: 08/16/2009: Recently purchased a couple of new products and will do reviews on them soon. Really, really love Ecostyler gel w/ olive oil. I think my hair really likes olive oil vs. other oils. Need more time to test and update soon. Still waiting for Afroveda products. Should get them sometime next week.

Update 08/07/09: Currently wearing my hair in fingercoil/coil out style. Only using EcoStyler gel (w/ Vitaka oil and Kinky curly mixed in). Just purchased Afroveda products, so plan to do Product review on that. Then later plan to get Komaza products.
