I LOVE DHIKR BECAUSE... DHIKR=REMEMBERANCE OF ALLAH(swt)
"Therefore, remember Me; I will remember you. Be grateful to Me, and reject Me not." (Quran 2:152)
"O ye who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do this often."
" And glorify Him morning and evening."
(Quran 33:41-42)
**POSTURE IS IRREVELENT TO DHIKR**
The Qur'an says in meaning:
Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day,- there are indeed Signs for men of understanding,-
-Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire.
[Qur'an 3:190-191]
**DHIKR IN THE PRAISE OF THE PROPHET**
"Verily, Allah and His angels Shower blessings on the Prophet. O Believers! send blessings upon him and salute him with a worthy salutation.."
[surah al-Ahzab; 33:56]
**DHIKR IN ASSEMBLY AND IN A CIRCLE**
*HADITH: Sahaba+dhikr in assembly/circle= Allah(swt) feeling proud of them among the angels & being praised by Rasulullah(saw)
The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) once visited a gathering of his companions and inquired,
--`What has made you assemble here?'
--They answered, `We have gathered to remember Allah and praise Him for having led us to Islam and granted this favour to us.'
--The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) inquired, `Do you affirm by Allah that it is so?'
--The Holy Prophet's Companions affirmed, `By Allah we are sitting here for this purpose only.'
--He [the Prophet s.a.w.] said,
-`I have not put you on oath on account of any doubt, but angel Jibreel had visited me and told me that Allah felt proud of you among the angels.'"
[From Sahih Muslim, and also in the Riyadh us-Saliheen of Imam Nawawi.]

There is also this important hadith about dhikr in general, and dhikr in an assembly:
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Prophet (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: Allah the Almighty says:
__I am as My servant thinks I am.
__I am with him when he makes mention of Me.
__If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself;
__and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assembly better than it.
__And if he draws near to Me a hand's span, I draw near to him an arm's length;
__and if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length.
_And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.

And do not obey him whose heart We have made to be neglectful of Our remembrance, one who follows his own whims and desires and whose affairs are furat [have gone beyond bounds and whose deeds have been lost].
