I start with story and move out from there using spoken word, music, recording, film & video, performance art & theatre.

The music for most of my new tracks tracks is by Gudrun Gut and there are also tracks by Beate Bartel (HANOI) and by Danielle De Picciotto and Alexander Hacke (STUFF). They are all Berlin Electronica artists.

MIASMA
These videos are from MIASMA, a collaborative music and interdisciplinary project with Gudrun Gut (1991 - 2004). We released 3 MIASMA CDs, toured and produced 3 big theatricals as well as videos, performance art and gallery installations. You name it, we did it.

The music, caustic wit, and theatrical flamboyance of MIASMA make it a fit to the genre "Dark Cabaret". The trks are all on itunes and other download shops under artist name Davies & Gut and the story of MIASMA is documented at www.m-enterprise.de/miasma

Though the MIASMA vibe survives in some new tracks, overall our sensibilities changed so we're not using that name any more. Current releases are under artist name, Myra Davies.

1. Intro MIASMA - from "Miasma, Spectacle of Fantasies" (2001) 17:00 video doc of MIASMA performances, directed by Myra Davies & Allan Harding MacKay with sound trk by Gudrun Gut. A QT file of this movie is on the MIASMA 3 cd.

2. Princess02 - is Gudrun's 2002 video edit for trk 'Princess' from MIASMA 2 cd.

3. TAXI - this was made for LOLA Dance/ Chor. Lola MacLaughlin (Vancouver). The dancer is Susan Elliot. This trk is shorter than the original TAXI on Miasma cd so Gudrun made a special audio edit for it.)
