About My Hope Is In Him

I'm a born again believer in Jesus Christ. I accepted him into my heart 23 years ago. I'm non-denominational.

What is the greatest commandment....Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind, and love thy neighbour as thyself....and believe on him whom he hath sent

This is the royal law spoken of in the bible, that ye love one another. These are the commandments that Jesus has given us.

You may notice that I have alot of videos with the word "sabbath" in the title. Please note this is not an attack on God, or on the bible.

These videos were made to help shift the focus from a day, unto the one who made it all possible, Jesus Christ who is God, who died on the cross and shed his blood for our sins and rose again the third day.

It is in him we find the true rest, he is our true Sabbath. The seventh day sabbath was only a shadow of the true rest we'd find when we come to Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh:

1Ti 3:16 - And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory

John 1:10-11 - He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

Jesus lived a life without sin:

Hbr 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.

He came to seek and save the lost:

Luk 19:10 - For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

We're the lost he came to save:

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God

Jesus took all our sin upon him when he died on the cross:

1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

He rose again bodily on the third day:

1Cr 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Jhn 20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust [it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

And all who believe will be saved:

Act 16:31 - And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life

1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

He gives his Holy Spirit as a seal to all who believe:

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are ye saved through faith that not of yourselves it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast

What commands were we given?

Jo 3:22-24 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

AND THIS IS HIS COMMANDMENT: That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

All glory belongs to God. This channel is dedicated to getting people to examine the scriptures, for in them only can we find the truth.

It is very easy to be blown about if one does not stick closely to scriptures:

2Cr 11:4 - For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or [if] ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with [him].

We know Jesus through the scriptures, we know the gospel through the scriptures.

Let every word of God be true, but every man a liar. Do not trust man, but rather trust the bible. Be like the bereans, search the scriptures and see if what a person says is true, and only then should you believe.

To satisfy those who may be curious as to what denomination I am, to this question I say:

Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called CHRISTIANS first in Antioch.

I'm simply a born again believer who has trusted in Jesus Christ for my salvation. The church I attend holds no denomination, we call ourselves Christians, we're part of the body of Christ, and Jesus Christ is our final authority.
