Calloway's Nursery was founded in 1986 by local nurserymen; Jim Estill, John Cosby, and John Peters, all from Fort Worth, Texas. Calloway's Nursery, a specialty retailer of lawn and garden products, operates 17 retail stores in Dallas/Fort Worth. Calloway's Nursery purchased Cornelius Nursery in 1999. Cornelius Nursery was founded by family prior to World War II and was run by Sterling Cornelius who helped found Texas Association of Nursery Professionals (TAN). Cornelius Nursery operates two retail stores in Houston.
