Looking at my copy of the 45, the Producer is listed as 'PM' - not Alvin Bennett, Liberty's owner. Ross Bagdasarian (aka David Seville), the creator of the Chipmunks may very well have used Alvin's name after the owner, but neither 'PM' or 'AB' started the Chipmunk - 'RB' did
