@eddisonhuang Many of my Taiwanese friends call it Hokkien and clasify themselves as Taiwanese. In fact I've never heard a Taiwanese person call themselves Chinese but alas we are in different places so I am sure we are subjected to two different things.

@eddisonhuang dude. In no way did I say they were speaking Taiwanese, I said Taiwanese was the original language though they mostly call it by something else. Oh and btw your from China? The country that still thinks they have control over Taiwan... yeah, I actually didn't fail at world history b...

@eddisonhuang Taiwanese is the original language of Taiwan, now they mostly speak Chinese Mandarin, but many of them can, like Jay Chou, speak Taiwanese as well.
