It is harder to nominate a racing-V8 ("racing" implying europe-centricity - the only kind worth talking about) that doesn't use a flat-plane crank. The '50s Maserati 450S and the last Guzzi 500cc are the only two that come to mind.

I had a massive crush on her when in year 11 and she was reading in Melbourne. Interestingly, a couple of months after this incident it was announced in the social pages that she was pregnant with their (third?) child.
Obviously Fiat /Ferrari didn't allow them to use the latters' 180 degree crank. Shame, as it results in something sounding no more sophisticated than a Chev ute.
