MY CULTURE is a South African magazine based on the following 5 subcultures: Skateboarding, Rollerblading, BMXing, Graffiti and Breakdancing.
A particular subculture is characterized by a systematic opposition to the dominant culture. Skateboarding, Rollerblading, Bmxing, Graffiti, and Breakdancing are all subcultures which have progressed from extreme sports, not wanting to conform, the fame game and most of all freedom of expression.
To everyone who lives for either one of these subcultures its more than just a hobby, more than just a thing we do, its a life style . . . no actually its more than just a life style, its our lives and its time we get given props where props are due!
