25 12 2011Abyss is a really weird guy. He talks a LOT, makes funny and strange jokes all the time. I love his voice in X-men legends, the accent, and total sarcasm in the things he says. He often has a huge sadistic grin on his face, which I love too. He has a really huge ego and is quite insane. He is a funny nihilist who calls his (world-)leader strange names and likes to drop people in the dimension in his chest, so he can feed on their emotions. He can unravel his body in coil 'tendrils' with which he can grab his victims. Abyss is very ambitious and a strong survivor. He became one of Apocalypses horsemen after killing the mutant Bastion, and rules a part of the apocalyptic former USA.

Quicksilver is suprised he lets go a child he has absorbed and asks why he Abyss does that:
Abyss: "Do you thow out your gum when its lost all its flavor?"
the jokes refer to his mutant powers:
I HOPE you appirciate the GRAVITY of the SITUATION!!"
"This REALLY SUCKS, doesnt it?"
"Some people think I'm a REAL drag!!"

I have seen the 25th anniversary of the Phantom of the opera!!! Because Im not able to travel, I never thought I would see the Phantom of the Opera musical, except for on youtube.. by pure luck, we were in the cinema the day tickets were sold.... it was amazing!

I like the original astrology, but not the weekly magazine kind that claims to know the future.
Historically, astrology was linked with astronomy, and was considered a real science which could be empirically tested.
This was before several roman emperors (under which the emperor Cencor, where the word 'cencoring' comes from) tried to get rid of astrology and the natural health science.
Over time, they split up astrololy and astronomy, and merged christian ideas back in astrology (like future-prediction, 'A messiah is gooin to be born', which originally is NO part of astrology). Because astrology was very popular they could not get rid of it all instead they merged a lot of astrological things in christianity.
They (re)invented/used christianity as a new form of control when the roman empire was falling apart.
In oriental cultures, where the roman cencorship has not happened, astrology is still used widely as it used to be in Europe, for health, to find marriage partners, to understand nature and the seasons, to understand people.

So passionate, so fascinating, emotional, insane, obsessive, melancholic so loving and so lonely.. Erik (the Phantom of the Opera) and his story touch my heart, and makes my heart want to beat in hamony with his. I am so in love with him!!!
I first saw the 2004 movie, and that same night, I downloaded and read the Leroux original story. I am now discovering the rest. Every night I dream of meeting a guy like him! I don't care what you look like Erik (whatever version) your soul is such a beautiful thing!! Marry me!
