"Hypocrisy and ineptitude is not just a function of the Democrats. Dire times call for dire actions. To all who covet an independent party and candidate in 2012, you best get your well meaning intentions activated. It took an immense grass roots effort, donations from millions of people who could not afford to make them, to elect President Obama. Since many of you feel he is leading our country to ruin, if not already led us there, you need to put up, or shut up!! Here is the challenge I present to you. Find that candidate you believe in, volunteer your time (not just writing emails), make phone calls, educate your constituency, and come up with a viable candidate who will be free from lobbyists and special interest groups and have no ties to Pharma, Wall Street, nor will be raising taxes on the well to do, the middle class, the working class, and corporate America. Figure out a way to finance your candidate without any strings attached, that will enable you to defeat Pres. Obama and whatever impotent candidate the Republicans can come up with (Glenn Beck would be a great start).
Many of you I am addressing this to, have found fault in each and every thing our current President has done, some of which is certainly justified; other criticisms, completely unfounded. You criticized Pres. Obama for inaction, before he was ever even sworn in to office. Now it is time to quit the negativity, think positive and lead our country in the direction you feel it should head. Trust me, it wont be easy. You will have to grapple with moral issues, economic issues, partisanship power, abortion, gay marriage, legalization of marijuana, defense, environmental concerns, terrorists, foreclosures, unemployment, Medicare and Medicaid, pollution, feeding the hungry, education, physical fitness, global warming, global disasters, providing national healthcare that is both affordable & does not add to the deficit and does not tax anyone, to name just a few. If you feel you are up to it, I say God bless you. Now all you have to do is find that candidate, unite behind him or her, find the resources to advertise, educate, and formulate a rational campaign plan to address every major issue on our planet, while being beholden to no one. If you find that person and can elect that candidate without special interest groups, lobbying, running a smut/smear campaign against President Obama, while at the same time put our unemployed back to work while providing peace worldwide, I am guessing you will have my vote. Until such time, try and be a trifle more optimistic, hopeful, and supportive. When you go to bed on a full stomach and make your mortgage payment, send your children to college, remain relatively healthy despite an American propensity toward gluttony and fast food, and have the time to sit on youtube, like me, please try to remember those who are homeless, jobless, hungry, hopeless, depressed, disabled, parentless, abused, mentally ill, and freezing on our streets, as I write. By the way, many of those are veterans who fought to keep us free, and are not just indigents on the dole. Let us all look in the mirror and come to grips with what we see.
We live in a time of such polarization, hatred, animosity, anger, resentment and self-righteousness, that when you find the answer to all our ills and our burgeoning deficit, please reveal who that person may be. I have not seen very many able nor viable candidates that are Christ-like, Ghandi-like, Moses-like, Mother Theresa-like, or Buddha-like. Yet somehow, I think many of you think you may have the answer. Humanity is waiting. We dont have much time. God speed!

Search your hearts and your souls and come up with a better plan, a better candidate, a better Party and until you do please try and be a bit more hopeful and positive. Dont just hate and be condemning. That is easy. After all, we are all Americans, some of us are All-Americans. We should be using synergy and unity to help us come up with how we lead the world in energy efficiency, alternative medical care, innovative ways to put our people back to work, and how we deal with the myriad of problems we face. Factionalism and self-righteousness is not the answer. I want to know who, what, where, how, when and why. I want solutions to our ills, not just rhetoric and criticism. If you have it, for love of God, let us know! Concrete solutions, not just constipated angst and vitriol. Enough!!
Keep the Faith. One thing all Americans have in common is our love of our country, the respect for all those who sacrificed to make our lives a reality, and our willingness to die for what we believe in. Sleep tight and unite America."
