Hello, over 25 years ago I learned to chip carve using the video teaching of Wayne Barton. I am still in contact with him today and visited him in his home this past year. I am honored to call him my friend. I hope you will be able to learn to chip carve using the lessons I'm able to provide. More videos and patterns are available with your membership to My Chip Carving. https://mychipcarving.com/Chip_Carving/Pages/chip_carving_free_eletter.htm

Hi Jeff,
Great suggestion. I've already created one layout video on drawing a rosette and another on laying out a design on a basswood egg. I plan to do more in the future. To have full access to all materials available, become a member at http://www.mychipcarving.com/Chip_Carving/Pages/chip_carving_free_eletter.htm and wait for the announcement about a brand NEW Platinum Membership plan.

Thanks so much for posting all of your videos.
I have had my chip carving supplies for about 3 years now. I tried carving following a video and some books but just couldn't get it so I put my stuff away and resigned myself to never being able to do it.
I watched your videos last night, got inspired and carved a line of 3-cornered chips lastthat was almost perfect (if I do say so myself)! I intend to kep going and following your videos.
You've re-ignited that fire I had for this style of carving 3 years ago. Thanks so much!

I have received my supplies and have been practicing. I am still trying to get the right angle to make the chips pop out properly. I am having some trouble with carving a straight line across the grain. I am trying to take it slow and be patient. I keep referring back to the videos to help remind me of good habits. Thanks again.
