Respect for a vintage performance (I think this is the contemporary phraseology). Just wait until her voice deepens. Ella Fitzgerald has a budding successor. Know her dad (sings like a duck); the talent is clearly from the mother’s side.

It simply cannot get better than this. Smokey moody sax growling, purring and whispering a timeless melody much older than Gershwin’s interpretation.

Sometimes the amount of long tone repetition required to tame the sax (and keep the blasted thing tamed!) gets to be a pain in ass. At such times I look up Candy; the pain eases and inspiration returns.
